My Grandmother's Easter Eggs
After a presentation of Staro Selo Museum's exhibits and activities, children are introduced to the tradition of observance of Easter holidays in Hrvatsko Zagorje. Since the beginning of a new life is symbolically marked by painting eggs, that is, designing pisanice, Easter eggs, children are encouraged to search the farm facilities for nests with eggs that they later paint with traditional dyes and design their own Easter eggs as a souvenir.
Target audience: children between the ages of 4 and 12
